Welcome to January and 2016!

Thanks to all of you, 2015 has been an amazing year for the Cancer Conquerors. Your enthusiasm, compassion, and ongoing support of others is truly inspiring. The year culminated in our festive holiday luncheon where we had the opportunity to enjoy one another’s company while recognizing our many volunteers that keep our organization healthy and strong. Special thanks to our social committee for putting together such a wonderful event, and to Sara Schulman and her trio for providing our holiday entertainment.

With creative input from our members, the TCC Board has plans for ongoing social, educational, and fitness opportunities along with fun adventures you will not want to miss! Be sure to check the Calendar on our website for information about all of these events, and watch our Facebook page to see the fun photos!

If you’ve been sitting back waiting for the right time to get more involved with Tucson Cancer Conquerors, the new year is here and now is the time. Join in the many adventures to come in 2016!

We wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year!

TCC Exercise Class News

Exercises classes are held at Brandi Fenton Park Tuesday evenings at 5:30 PM and Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM.

For those looking for a little less strenuous activity, we also have an informal group of members who stretch and warm-up with the exercise class, then take a walk around Brandi Fenton Park.

The TCC Fitness Challenge is on!

The new year is a great time to get out those fitness journals and commit to keeping your log for the next 30 days – assuming you have not been keeping your log for the last 3 months!

It’s important to track your pedometer steps along with your nutrition, hydration and other workouts! Your fitness team will be scheduling a follow-up evaluation soon to review your log and assess your overall progress. It’s not too late to redirect your efforts and see a difference in the next 30 days. Charge your pedometers  and come to Exercise Class, enjoy a Mindful Meander with Dawn, and conquer the Second Sunday Hike with Deb. All it takes is to do a little something every day – let’s do this!

Exercise Class Payments

The cost for a three month class session is $50 for one class per week, or $75 for two classes per week, and we appreciate payment in the first month of each quarter. You can pay online in the Members Area of our website using a credit or debit card processed securely through Paypal. We also accept cash or check payments, (checks payable toTucson Cancer Conquerors), which can be given to Annie O'Connor or Joanne Gouldin. Please email Annie or email Joanne if you have any payment related questions.
